Elisabeth joined the Gerontology Department in 2006 as a Lecturer and has played a key role in developing the MSc in Gerontology. She is currently an Associate Professor and Head of the Department. She has published widely and sits on several editorial boards, and her work addresses pressing issues such as care networks for older individuals, particularly in the context of migration and demographic change.
