Dr. Elise Ng

Biography

Elise Ng is an assistant professor in dermatology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She serves as the Director of Dermatologic Surgery and Director of the Micrographic Surgery Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship. Dr. Ng oversees a team of Mohs surgeons across four clinical sites and is a clinical co-director at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. Her expertise includes Mohs micrographic surgery and complex facial reconstruction, focusing on skin cancer and surgical management of both benign and malignant skin lesions. She graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College and earned her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Following this, she completed her residency at NYU Langone Hospital, where she was selected as chief resident, and a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Dr. Ng's research interests include utilizing modern technology and artificial intelligence to enhance clinical care for skin cancer patients. Since joining Johns Hopkins in 2017, she has consistently been recognized as a “Top Doctor” by Baltimore Magazine.
