Dr. Elizabeth Graddy

Biography

Elizabeth Graddy is the Jeffrey J. Miller Chair at the University of Southern California Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, where she serves as a Professor in the fields of Public Policy and Political Science. Her research primarily investigates how industry organizational structures influence performance, with a specific focus on the roles that ownership types (public, nonprofit, for-profit) and information asymmetry play in shaping institutional design and effectiveness. She has authored numerous articles in academic journals that explore the relationship between structure and performance across a variety of organizations, including juries in product liability cases and licensing boards.
