Dr. Elizabeth Hammond

Biography

Elizabeth Hammond is a physiotherapist and faculty member in the Physical Therapy program at the College of Rehabilitation Sciences, University of Manitoba. She has worked in a wide variety of clinical settings, including inpatient and outpatient services as well as private practice. Her primary research interests focus on rehabilitation of the hand and upper extremity. She has extensive experience in physical therapy management and addresses conditions such as peripheral neuropathy and neuropathic pain. Dr. Hammond has an academic background with a Doctor of Philosophy in Human Anatomy and Cell Science from the University of Manitoba, as well as a Master of Science in Rehabilitation and a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physical Therapy from the same institution. She is also a Certified Hand Therapist and is currently accepting graduate students for mentorship.
