Biography

Elizabeth Harrington, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Washington. She completed her medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco, in 2011, followed by a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Oregon Health Sciences University in 2015, and a fellowship in Family Planning at the University of Washington in 2018. Her clinical interests include general obstetrics and gynecology, complex family planning and contraception, as well as global family planning and adolescent reproductive health. Dr. Harrington is passionate about global reproductive health rights and providing care to underserved individuals. She has been recognized with several awards for her research and dedication to the field, including the Translational Poster Award from the Society of Family Planning in 2017 and the Resident Research Award from the OHSU Department of OB/GYN in 2014. Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Harrington enjoys exploring the beautiful Seattle area and values the connections with her community and patients, who continually inspire her with their strength and resilience.
