Biography

Elizabeth (Zab) Johnson is the Executive Director and Senior Fellow at the Wharton Neuroscience Initiative. Her research focuses on vision and visual behavior, employing physiological approaches to study the retina and early visual cortex. She utilizes eye tracking techniques to investigate how human observers look at and navigate the world, exploring the processes that unfold over time during experience and the role of social cognition in decision-making processes. She is an expert in color vision. Elizabeth obtained her PhD in Neural Science from New York University.
