Biography

Jacomijn Klitsie is an Associate Professor at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University Rotterdam, where she serves as the Associate Academic Director for BSc Programmes. She earned her cum laude Bachelor's degree in International Business Administration in 2008 and her cum laude Master's degree in Strategic Management in 2011, both from the same institution. Early in her career, Jacomijn worked with the Amsterdam branch of the strategy consulting firm Roland Berger, where she honed her skills in systematic problem-solving and strategic thinking. She later pursued a PhD focusing on Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship, with research interests in strategic renewal, institutional change mechanisms, and communication framing processes. Jacomijn has presented her work at various international conferences and has received accolades for her research, including being a nominee for the Routledge Paper Award for her paper on social partnerships. As a dedicated educator, she has taught various courses including the Strategic Business Plan course and has supervised numerous Master’s thesis projects. Currently, she continues to be active in both research and teaching within her academic career.
