Elizabeth Thompson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Duke University, with a strong background in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. She completed her Pediatric Residency and subsequent fellowships in Pediatric Cardiology and Critical Care at Duke University School of Medicine. Thompson's research focuses on pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics in critically ill children, particularly in optimizing drug dosing and exposure. She has contributed significantly to the field through various grants from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, focusing on studies that assess medication safety and efficacy in pediatric populations.
