Biography

Elizabeth Vassey completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Mars Hill University and obtained her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from Midwestern University. She gained advanced clinical training specializing in behavioral medicine at Loyola University Medical Center and completed her Pre-doctoral Clinical Fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at Southwestern Vermont Psychology Consortium. Dr. Vassey is currently an Assistant Professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine in the Department of Neurology, where she also serves as the Associate Director of the Boston Center for Memory, a multidisciplinary diagnostic and treatment center for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Her clinical interests encompass the intersection of behavioral medicine and clinical neuropsychology, focusing on the treatment of patients with Alzheimer’s disease, related dementias, and other neurodegenerative diseases.
