Elli Stern is a Professor of Religious Studies and Jewish Studies. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley and his B.A. from Yeshiva University. Previously, he was a Junior William Golding Fellow in Humanities at Brasenose College, Oriental Institute, University of Oxford. He has served as a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations and as a consultant for the Museum of History of Polish Jews in Warsaw, Poland. Currently, he is a member of the Academic Advisory Board at the Center of Jewish History.
