Biography

Dr. Eloise Chapman-Davis earned her medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Harvard University Brigham & Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. She subsequently completed her fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at Northwestern University Prentice Women’s Hospital. Currently, she is an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medicine and serves as the Associate Fellowship Director for the combined Weill Cornell Medicine/Columbia NYP Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship. In February 2021, Dr. Chapman became the Division Director of Gynecologic Oncology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical College. Her clinical interests include the surgical and chemotherapy management of ovarian, endometrial, cervical, vulvar, and vaginal cancers, with extensive training in minimally invasive surgical approaches. Dr. Chapman is actively involved in clinical and translational research, focusing on evaluating gynecologic cancer outcomes and developing early detection and prevention strategies for high-risk women. She has received multiple teaching awards and is recognized as a leader in diversity, inclusion, and health equity in gynecologic cancer care. Dr. Chapman is dedicated to providing comprehensive care and educational resources to patients, not only locally but also through international surgical missions in the Caribbean and Africa.
