Biography

I have held the position of professor in Greek language and literature at the Université de Montréal since 2012. I am also co-editor of the Sources Early Poetics collection at Brill. My research focuses on ancient literary theory and the early reception of Greek poets, exploring fundamental poetic concepts such as fiction and persona. My work incorporates exegetical approaches applied to ancient texts and the allegorical interpretations that ancient readers employed, including etymological explanations. I supervise graduate students and contribute significantly to the academic community through various programs and organization of courses in Greek literature and language.
