Biography

Elvis Pandzic is a Senior Lecturer specializing in Advanced Fluorescence Microscopy at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), where he is affiliated with the Katharina Gaus Light Microscopy Facility within the Mark Wainwright Analytical Centre. He earned his PhD in Biological Physics from McGill University in Canada in 2013, where he developed novel image fluctuation correlation analysis tools that enable the study of membrane protein confinement. His work measures protein density, oligomerization, and co-localization dynamics in live cells. Currently, at the KGLMF, he adapts and develops methodologies tailored to address biomedical questions posed by researchers at UNSW.
