Biography

Emile Voest is a professor of Medical Oncology and a senior group leader at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. He serves as a senior scientist at the Oncode Institute and is a translational scientist. He is the current chair of the board of directors for Cancer Core Europe, a collaboration among seven comprehensive cancer centers. In 2021, he served as the executive medical director of the Netherlands Cancer Institute. Voest co-founded Mosaic Therapeutics, which is dedicated to developing new combinatorial treatments targeting specific genomic backgrounds. His academic group focuses on bringing precision medicine to patients by emphasizing large-scale genomic sequencing for patients with metastatic cancer, along with the development of co-culture models using primary cultures of tumors and immune cells to enhance drug development in immunotherapy.
