Biography

Emilie Lacroix is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of New Brunswick. Her research primarily investigates barriers and disparities in access to care for eating disorders, focusing on underserved regions and the experiences of gender-diverse individuals. She also examines the development of body image across the lifespan and its connections to disordered eating and mental health. Lacroix has published extensively on various topics related to eating disorders, body image, and the intersectionality of these issues with substance use disorders.
