Dr. Emily Carter

Biography

Emily Carter is a Gerhard R. Andlinger Professor at Princeton University, holding positions in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department, the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment, and the Applied Computational Mathematics Program. Her research primarily focuses on materials science, with specific interests in applied materials and sustainability sciences. With a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the California Institute of Technology, awarded in 1987, and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California - Berkeley, obtained in 1982, she has established a robust academic and professional background. Emily has significantly contributed to the advancement of energy and environmental sciences, bringing interdisciplinary approaches to address global challenges in these fields.
