Dr. Emily Farina

Biography

Emily Farina is an Assistant Professor at Yale School of Medicine, specializing in Clinical Psychology. She has held various roles including Director of Postdoctoral Training and Clinical Coordinator for programs addressing high-risk psychosis. Her educational background includes a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Connecticut, along with a MS in Clinical Psychology and a BA in Psychology from Fairfield University. Emily's research focuses on serious mental illnesses, particularly in understanding and addressing the early stages of psychotic disorders. She has been actively involved in clinical and research training at both Yale and the University of Connecticut, contributing significantly to the understanding of severe emotional disturbances.
