Biography

Dr. Emily Rose serves as a Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine and Director of Pre-Health Undergraduate Studies at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. A native of South Dakota, Rose completed her Emergency Medicine residency as chief resident at the Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center and pursued a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Loma Linda University. She is passionate about innovative educational approaches and upholding high standards of professionalism in medicine. Among her accolades, she has received educational awards, including the Los Angeles County/USC Emergency Medicine Faculty of the Year and Honorable Mention Outstanding Speaker of the Year from the American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Rose has also authored a textbook on life-threatening rashes and is currently developing a practical guide on pediatric emergencies. With a dedication to teaching and improving emergency care, Dr. Rose maintains an active role in presenting at seminars and conferences about Pediatric Emergency Medicine topics.
