Biography

Emily Snyder is a lecturer in Sociology and Legal Studies at the University of Waterloo. She holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Alberta, a Master's degree in Sociology from Carleton University, and an Honours Bachelor's degree in Criminology from Saint Mary's University. Her research primarily focuses on socio-legal studies and theory, Indigenous law, and critical pedagogies in legal education.
