Biography

Emir Hrnjic is the Academic Director of the UCLA-NUS EMBA program and a Senior Lecturer at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School, where he also heads the FinTech Training program at the Asian Institute of Digital Finance (AIDF). His academic contributions include the development of case studies used by over 100 universities globally, including prestigious institutions such as Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Cornell, and the University of Chicago. His involvement spans consulting projects related to blockchain and digital currencies, as well as litigation consulting. A citizen of Bosnia and residing in Singapore, Emir earned his Ph.D. in Finance from Tulane University in 2005. He has held faculty positions at Tulane University and Virginia Tech University before joining NUS.
