Biography

Emma Greensmith is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Classics at the University of Oxford and a Fellow and Tutor at St John’s College. She completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Peterhouse, Cambridge, where she also held a Research Fellowship at Jesus College. Dr. Greensmith teaches a variety of literature options for undergraduates, covering both Greek and Latin texts, and supervises graduate students in topics related to Greek epic and its reception. Her extensive publication record reflects her deep engagement with the intersections of literature and culture during ancient times.
