Emma Tebbs is a specialist in Earth observation, conservation, and sustainable development. Her research focuses on remote sensing of aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, particularly lakes, rivers, and catchments. She holds a PhD from the University of Leicester on remote sensing of ecohydrology in the East African Rift lakes. Emma's research explores innovative uses of Earth Observation technologies to address global challenges related to biodiversity conservation and sustainable development, with a special emphasis on developing countries in Africa.
