Biography

Emmanouil Papastavridis is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Engineering at King's College London. He obtained his B.Sc. in Electronic Electrical Engineering from University College London (UCL), an MSc in Mechatronics from King's College London, and a PhD in Humanoid Robotics from Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) in Genoa, Italy. He is also a Principal Investigator for the EPSRC REST project and has received accolades such as the 2022 Journal Mechanisms Robotics Paper Award. His work has significantly contributed to advancements in robotics, specifically focusing on ensuring stable and efficient robot movements and interactions with human environments.
