Biography

Associate Professor Lee Eng Geap attended Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge University, where he studied Medical Sciences and Clinical Medicine. He completed an attachment with the Harvard School of Toxicology while pursuing his degree in Pharmacology. After obtaining his medical and surgical degrees from Cambridge, he was recruited as a houseman by Professor Sir Roy Calne and further pursued a surgical career at Oxford. Dr. Lee was subsequently enrolled in the Specialist Registrar Urology Training Scheme at Imperial College School of Medicine in London and was appointed as a consultant urological surgeon in the United Kingdom. In 2007, he returned to Malaysia to join the University of Malaya as an Associate Professor in Surgery. Dr. Lee is an academic urologist actively involved in teaching and research, with interests in both basic science and clinical aspects related to receptor mutogenesis, exocytosis, endourology, and andrology.
