Eni Musta is an Assistant Professor at the Korteweg-de Vries Institute for Mathematics, University of Amsterdam, specializing in statistical methods. Eni obtained a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Pisa in March 2015 and a PhD from Delft University of Technology in April 2019, with a thesis focused on smooth nonparametric estimation under shape constraints. Following that, Eni worked as a postdoctoral researcher at ORSTAT, KU Leuven. Eni's research interests include survival analysis and non-semi-parametric estimation methods for shape constrained statistical inference. Currently, Eni develops new methodologies for cure rate models that address survival data in the presence of long-term survivors. Eni collaborates with the Leiden University Medical Center and the Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology on projects related to long-term survival in childhood osteosarcoma.
