Biography

Ensieh Fooladi is a Senior Lecturer in the Monash Nursing and Midwifery program at Monash University. She obtained her PhD in Epidemiology from the Women’s Health Research Program in the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Monash University in Australia in 2014. Her doctoral research focused on antidepressant-associated sexual dysfunction in midlife women. Ensieh's research interests center on the health and well-being of women during the pre-conception, pregnancy, postpartum period, and midlife, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based health care. She has published several papers in the fields of women’s health and midwifery and currently supervises PhD, Master’s, and Honours students. Additionally, she has a keen interest in educational research, particularly in the assessment regimes within nursing and midwifery education. Ensieh holds a Fellowship in Higher Education, acknowledging her commitment to excellence in university teaching and learning. She is also an active member of the Research Report Subcommittee of the Consultative Council on Obstetric and Paediatric Mortality and Morbidity (CCOPMM).
