Biography

Erdener Kaynak is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Marketing at Penn State Harrisburg. He has conducted post-doctoral research at various universities and research institutions across North and South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific. A four-time recipient of the William J. Fulbright Senior Scholar award, he has received numerous awards and distinctions from several international institutions and societies. Dr. Kaynak has lectured on diverse marketing topics and international business across many countries while serving as a consultant across five continents and forty countries. He is a prolific author with 25 books and 200 scholarly articles to his name, with some of his works translated into Japanese and Chinese. His research interests include global marketing, comparative marketing systems, and cross-cultural consumer behavior. He has also contributed as the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Euromarketing and co-edits the Advances in Global Management series. Additionally, Dr. Kaynak has served as a senior training advisor and consultant for various international agencies and governments, including the Inter-American Development Bank and the United Nations Development Program.
