Dr. Eric Asaba

Biography

Eric Asaba is a Professor at the University of Gothenburg, specializing in Occupational Science. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California and has a diverse educational background that includes a Master's from Springfield College and a Bachelor's from Cornell College. With over 20 years of experience in the field, he has focused on stakeholder engagement in research and education, designing community projects, and intervention studies that integrate a wide range of conceptual tools. His research interests encompass participation and inclusion of individuals at risk of exclusion due to various contexts such as disability and migration. Notably, he has worked on health intervention designs aimed at primary and secondary stroke prevention and the impact of migration on aging and experiences of disability. Asaba has published extensively in the field, contributing to various journals and collaborating with colleagues on significant studies.
