Eric Chung is a Part-Time Lecturer in the Technology Applied Computing (TAC) Program at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering. He is the Managing Director of the VanEck Digital Assets Initiative at the Marshall School of Business and was a founding faculty member of USC’s Minor in Blockchain, co-created in 2018. His teaching primarily focuses on Blockchain Technology and Digital Assets, with courses on Smart Contract Development and Blockchain Advances & Use Cases, as well as Digital Entrepreneurship. With over a decade of experience as an active entrepreneur and investor in the blockchain industry, Eric has co-founded Abridged, a no-code blockchain development platform that produced the token-gating product Collab.Land. Before Abridged, he founded DApperNetwork, one of the world’s leading blockchain developer education companies, and co-founded the LA Blockchain Lab, a non-governmental organization that advised public and private sectors in Los Angeles on strategic blockchain initiatives. Currently, he serves as a Venture Advisor at Ethos Fund, a venture capital firm specializing in early-stage technology investments in Southeast Asia, and is an angel investor in cryptocurrency startups.
