Dr. Eric Condie

Biography

Eric Condie is an Assistant Professor at the Scheller College of Business. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017, an MBA from Utah State University in 2003, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University in 2000. Before pursuing an academic career, he worked as an audit senior manager at KPMG in Southern California. Professor Condie's research interests lie at the intersection of auditing and financial reporting, with a focus on management disclosure, auditor assurance, and fraud, utilizing archival research methods. His teaching interests include auditing and financial accounting. During his doctoral program, he received teaching awards from the University of Wisconsin's Department of Accounting and the Wisconsin School of Business.
