Biography

Eric D'Hoker is a Distinguished Research Professor in Theoretical Mathematical Physics at the University of California, Los Angeles. He received his Ph.D. from Princeton University in 1981 and has since made significant contributions to various fields, including quantum field theory, string theory, and their applications in particle physics and condensed matter physics. D'Hoker has held positions such as a member of the Mani L. Bhaumik Institute of Theoretical Physics and an honorary trustee at the Aspen Center for Physics.
