Eric Deleersnijder holds a degree in electrical mechanical engineering and a doctorate in applied sciences in mechanics. His research interests are focused on modeling the hydrosphere, including lakes, rivers, estuaries, coastal regions, and shelf seas of the World Ocean. He has co-authored 190 peer-reviewed publications and guest-edited books and special issues in scientific journals, as well as organized international conference sessions and workshops.
