Dr. Eric Garfinkel

Biography

Eric Garfinkel is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He specializes in emergency medical services and serves as an instructor within the department's emergency medical services fellowship. Garfinkel is actively involved in clinical practice across several emergency departments, including those at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, and Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center. He completed his medical education at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016, followed by residency training in Emergency Medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2020, and a fellowship in Emergency Medical Services in 2021. He holds board certifications in Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services from the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
