Biography

Eric Golike, M.D., M.P.H., is a board-certified emergency medicine physician working at UWMC Northwest Montlake. He serves as the Associate Medical Director of the University of Washington Northwest Emergency Department. Before joining the UW faculty, Dr. Golike held the position of Assistant Medical Director in the Emergency Department at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. His professional interests encompass emergency department operations, medical resuscitation leadership, and community pediatric emergency care. Dr. Golike chairs the UW Emergency Department Pediatric Care Readiness Committee and is a representative on the UWMC Northwest Emergency Department Medical Emergency Response Committee. Additionally, he co-leads the UWMC Northwest Trauma Committee. Alongside his responsibilities at the University of Washington, Dr. Golike serves as a Medical Officer for the NC-1 HHS Disaster Medical Assistance Team. His education includes a Master’s in Public Health from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill (2013) and a Doctor of Medicine from the same institution (2014). He completed his residency at Northwell - Staten Island University Hospital in 2017. His research and clinical interests focus on hospital operations, medical resuscitation leadership, community emergency department pediatric care, and disaster medical care.
