Biography

Eric Hannapel grew up in Middleville, Michigan, a small community south of Grand Rapids. He attended Western Michigan University for his undergraduate education and enrolled at the University of Michigan, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1992. Following this, he completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center in 1993 and subsequently completed a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics in 1996. After his education, he established his practice in Caledonia, Michigan, where he has been treating patients since 1996. Dr. Hannapel volunteers his time with the DeVos Children's Hospital Oral Cleft Program, providing care to patients in need. His treatment philosophy includes the utilization of MBT Straightwire with a 0.022 slot, Self-ligation brackets, and removable Functional Appliances.
