Biography

Eric Helleiner is a Professor and University Research Chair in the Department of Political Science and Balsillie School of International Affairs at the University of Waterloo. He specializes in international political economy and has published extensively, including seven sole-authored books and six co-edited volumes, alongside approximately one hundred articles and book chapters. His research interests encompass themes such as global finance, the historical foundations of international economic agreements, and the politics surrounding globalization and environmental policies.
