Biography

Eric Ip is a Clinical Professor at Stanford University's School of Medicine specializing in Medicine - Primary Care Population Health. He serves as the Director of Clinical Therapeutics Curriculum and Director of Student Faculty Scholarship in the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program. Dr. Ip earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of California, Davis, and his Pharm.D. from the University of California, San Francisco, where he completed his Doctor of Pharmacy degree and subsequently his post-graduate residency at Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara Medical Center. Currently, he co-leads the Diabetes/Cardiovascular Management Program as a clinical pharmacist at Kaiser Permanente Mountain View Medical Offices. Dr. Ip also directs the California Society of Health-System Pharmacists Advanced Practice Pharmacist Certificate Program and holds a chair position in Clinical Sciences at Touro University California College of Pharmacy, focusing on anabolic steroids and performance-enhancing drugs in his research. He has received numerous awards for his teaching excellence, including the MSPA Award for Excellence in Preclinical Teaching and the Rising Stars Healthcare Research recognition from Medscape.
