Biography

Eric Klopfer is the Faculty Director of the Global Teaching Labs and a Professor in the Comparative Media Studies/Writing program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is also the Interim Department Head for Literature. His lab has produced software, such as casual mobile games and platforms used by millions, and has created online courses that have reached hundreds of thousands of learners. He is also a co-founder and past president of the Learning Games Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing educational gaming.
