Professor Eric Lanteigne received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ottawa in 2003 and 2006, respectively. He earned his PhD from the Royal Military College of Canada in 2011. He joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Ottawa, where his research interests include mechanisms design, uninhabited aerial vehicles, path planning, and control. Professor Lanteigne has worked on a number of industrial design projects focusing on mobile robots in the agricultural industry, energy harvesting in the transportation sector, outdoor exercise equipment, and structures for uninhabited aircraft. He is currently involved in projects concerning lighter-than-air uninhabited aircraft systems and multibody aerial vehicles. In addition to his research, Professor Lanteigne teaches a capstone project course for mechanical engineering students.
