Dr. Eric Larson

Biography

Eric Larson is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Brown University. His research specializes in algebraic geometry, particularly focusing on algebraic curves and the moduli spaces associated with them. He completed his PhD in 2018, followed by a postdoctoral position at Stanford University. Throughout his academic career, Larson has held various instructional appointments, including serving as an Assistant Professor at Stanford University from 2018 to 2020 and continuing as an Assistant Professor at Brown University starting in 2020. He teaches several mathematics courses, including Abstract Algebra, Cryptography, and Algebraic Geometry. His contributions to mathematical research and education reflect a commitment to advancing understanding in the field of algebraic geometry.
