Dr. Eric Terry

Biography

Eric Terry is an Associate Professor at the Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University. He has been with the institution since 2006 following the completion of his Ph.D. in Finance at Stanford University. Prior to his tenure at Ryerson, he was part of the finance faculties at the Wharton School of Business, the National University of Singapore, and Central Connecticut State University. His professional career also includes running a private consulting business. Terry's research interests concentrate on various aspects of finance, particularly risk management, corporate finance, and behavioral finance. He has conducted numerous risk management seminars for Chief Financial Officers and institutional investors, and has served as an expert witness specializing in option valuation. In addition to his academic pursuits, Terry has contributed to regional charitable boards and has published various articles in notable finance journals.
