Biography

Recent projects examine bank-nonbank funding interdependence; distributional consequences of digital banking; transmission of interest-rate risk on bank balance sheet fragility; and how collateral valuation and market structure affect credit supply. Jiang focuses on measuring welfare and identifying mechanisms that create winners and losers due to exclusion, alongside design choices that can reduce distortions. Jiang joined the UCLA Anderson faculty in 2025, having previously served as an assistant professor at USC Marshall School of Business and as a visiting assistant professor at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She received her Ph.D. in finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
