Walter Farkas is a Professor of Quantitative Finance in the Department of Finance at the University of Zurich (UZH) and an Associate Faculty member of the Department of Mathematics at ETH Zurich. He is the program director for the Master of Science in Quantitative Finance, a joint degree offered by UZH and ETH, since 2003. His academic achievements include a Habilitation from Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich, a Doctorate from Friedrich-Schiller-University of Jena, and a Master of Science and Licence Diploma in Mathematics from the University of Bucharest.
