Professor Dr. Erick Lisangan

Biography

Erick Alfons Lisangan is a PhD student specializing in Intelligent Transportation Systems at the University of Western Australia. His research focuses on designing effective algorithms for pathfinding in graph traffic networks and analyzing spatiotemporal traffic data collection. With a background in Computer Science, he holds a master’s degree from Gadjah Mada University and a bachelor’s degree from Atma Jaya University of Makassar in Indonesia. In addition to his doctoral studies, Lisangan serves as a lecturer in the Department of Information Technology at Atma Jaya University. He also has experience as a casual tutor at the University of Western Australia, assisting in courses such as Data Structures and Algorithms and Computational Thinking in Python. His work contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, emphasizing education and the impact of technology in driving sustainable solutions. He has collaborated with other experts in his field and has a growing number of citations in academic publications, showcasing his contributions to the advancement of Intelligent Transportation Systems.
