Biography

Erik Andersson is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Gothenburg in the School of Global Studies. He has been engaged in academia since achieving his Master's degree in International Relations in 1994. His PhD, completed in 2003, focused on the financial markets' globalization using a phenomenological post-structural perspective. Since 2008, he has held a permanent post in the section of Peace and Development Research. His research interests primarily revolve around post-structuralist theory, particularly in relation to Global Political Economy. Andersson's latest work, 'Reconstructing Global Political Economy - Analytical Guide,' published by Bristol University Press in 2020, complements his teaching in Global Studies, International Relations, International Political Economy, and Development Economics. He also contributes to various conferences and publications that discuss globalization and its implications on governance and development.
