Biography

Erika Constantine is a Professor of Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine at Brown University, where she serves as the Director of Pediatric Emergency Ultrasound at Hasbro Children's Hospital. She completed her MD at McGill University Medical School and underwent her residency in Pediatrics at the University of British Columbia. Following this, she pursued a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Brown University. Over the years, she has received several accolades for her excellence in teaching, including the Dean’s Excellence in Teaching Award in 2016, the Innovation in Teaching Award from the Department of Emergency Medicine in 2016, and the Rising Star Faculty Award in 2020. Dr. Constantine is actively involved in teaching at local, regional, and national levels, contributing significantly to the art and science of pediatric emergency medicine and the use of ultrasound in clinical practice.
