Biography

Erika Corradini is a Principal Teaching Fellow at the University of Southampton, specializing in professional writing and academic careers within the context of higher education practice. Her work involves leading strategies for educator development and overseeing academic programs that support teaching qualifications and policies. With a focus on Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL), she has developed initiatives aimed at enhancing learning through the evaluation of teaching practices. In addition to supporting women in leadership and championing transnational education, she plays an active role in the Staff Educational Development Association (SEDA). Her previous experience includes teaching Early English Literature and Language, as well as developing national networks to promote language-based professions. Corradini is also the Program Director for the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice, an external examiner for programs at the University of Birmingham and the University of York, and serves as an Independent Assessor for the Level 7 Academic Professional Apprenticeship.
