Biography

Erin is an Assistant Teaching Professor in Creative Arts Therapies focused on digital learning and interdisciplinary education. She is a Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) and holds a Master of Science in Art Therapy Counseling along with a Graduate Certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders from Emporia State University in Kansas. Erin completed her Bachelor of Science in Family and Child Sciences with a minor in Psychology from The Florida State University. Currently, she is pursuing her doctorate at Drexel University, with an expected graduation in 2022. Prior to joining Penn State, Erin facilitated art therapy for individuals of varying ages and abilities and developed supervised internship opportunities for students at PSU. In her free time, she enjoys reading, creating art, practicing yoga, and spending time in nature with children.
