Biography

Erin Forbes is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Bristol specializing in African American literature of the long nineteenth century. Erin earned her B.A. from Reed College and both her M.A. and Ph.D. from Princeton University. Before joining the University of Bristol, she was an Associate Professor in English and African American Diaspora Studies at the University of Wyoming (USA).
