Biography

Erin Yakiwchuk is an Assistant Professor at the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition at the University of Saskatchewan. She joined the college in 2019 after completing her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at the University of Saskatchewan in 2006. Following this, she completed a pharmacy practice residency (ACPR) with Alberta Health Services in Edmonton in 2007. Yakiwchuk obtained her MSc in clinical pharmacy in 2012. She is also a Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist. In her teaching role, Yakiwchuk focuses on pharmacotherapeutics within the PharmD program, primarily covering content related to geriatrics, and she teaches a Year 3 elective course on managing pharmacotherapy in older adults. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Yakiwchuk practices as a pharmacist in the Geriatric Evaluation Management Program at Saskatoon City Hospital.
